Opera is famous for its rich emotions and power to move audiences through the combination of music and drama.

In January Northern Ireland Opera prepares to stage the Irish première of the extraordinary modern opera Powder Her Face by Thomas Adès which recounts the sordid affairs and scandalous divorce of the infamous Margaret, Duchess of Argyll.

Join members of their Young Artists Programme Sinéad O’Kelly and Elaine Pelan (sopranos), Dominica Williams (mezzo-soprano) and David Howes (baritone) as they take you on a journey of three of the most prominent emotions in opera – Love, Lust and Loss.

Featuring operatic favourites and dramatic songs by Handel, Mozart, Brahms, and accompanied by pianist Gail Evans, don’t miss this perfect lunchtime musical treat!
