James Joyce’s iconic novel was first published in 1922 and remains one of the greatest literary achievements of all time.

What many people don’t know is that Joyce intended Ulysses to be a funny book and he used to guffaw out loud frequently when writing certain episodes.

The purpose of Strolling Through Ulysses is to introduce novices to the brilliance and humour of the book, perhaps to take the plunge and read right through. You will be guided through the main events and characters of Ulysses, in a humorous, entertaining and informative style, with extracts from the book which best illustrate the various aspects of Joyce’s masterpiece.

So hold on to your hats and take a deep breath as Robert Gogan takes you on a 70 minute whistle-stop tour through the fun and laughter of Joyce’s extraordinary and celebrated novel. The tour will include;
